Recently, the main project of Xingtai Meifan Energy Storage Equipment Manufacturing Co., Ltd. (referred to as Xingtai Meifan Energy Storage) with an annual output of 2GW all vanadium flow energy storage batteries is nearing completion, and the core component production line is undergoing equipment installation.
It is reported that the Xingtai Meifan Energy Storage Project in Hebei Province has an annual output of 2GW all vanadium flow energy storage batteries, with a total investment of 1.25 billion yuan. It will simultaneously build 10 fully automatic stack assembly production lines, 2 proton membrane production lines, 1 integrated electrode plate production line, 5 internal and external inspection equipment and testing lines for the stack system, 1 customized electrolyte production line, and 2 vanadium electrolyte storage tank production lines, forming a full industry chain layout from core components to complete battery products, which will effectively drive the development of upstream and downstream industrial agglomeration.
After the project is completed and put into operation, it is expected to have an annual output value of 2 billion yuan, an annual tax payment of 260 million yuan, and provide 100 job opportunities.
At present, the project is expected to complete installation by the end of the month, start debugging in January 2026, and begin production in May 2026.
After the project is put into operation, it will fully leverage the advantages of long energy storage time and no capacity degradation of all vanadium flow batteries, effectively enhance the regional power grid's ability to absorb new energy such as wind power and photovoltaics, alleviate the pressure of power grid peak regulation, and provide solid guarantees for the green and low-carbon development of Xingtai.
