The Beiting 1 million kilowatt photovoltaic+20 million kilowatt/1 million kilowatt hour all vanadium liquid flow energy storage integrated project has a total investment of 3.8 billion yuan, covers an area of 28000 acres, and has an installed capacity of 1000 MW. After completion, the annual average power generation of the project is about 1.72 billion kWh, which reduces carbon dioxide emissions by more than 1.6 million tons per year compared to traditional thermal power plants. The photovoltaic system has been in operation for 25 years, and its emission reduction is equivalent to the annual emissions of a medium-sized country, with significant economic and ecological benefits.
In recent years, Jimsar County has deeply implemented the national "dual carbon" strategy and scientifically planned the layout of new energy development. During the 14th and 15th Five Year Plans, the county has planned a new energy scale of 10 million kilowatts, with 30 new energy construction land plots covering a total area of approximately 560000 acres, effectively promoting the implementation of clean energy projects from planning to implementation.
At present, 10 photovoltaic projects have been completed and put into operation in Jimsar County, with an installed capacity of 2.01 million kilowatts. Jimsar County will focus on improving power grid infrastructure, enhancing distribution network capacity, and developing new energy storage on a large scale during the 15th Five Year Plan period to support green transformation.
