Zhuzhou CRRC:
The 8-inch SiC production line is expected to be fully operational by the end of the year
In recent investor relations activities, Zhuzhou CRRC disclosed that its Zhuzhou Phase III production line (8-inch SiC production line) is expected to be fully operational by the end of 2025 and is currently actively expanding its customer base both domestically and internationally.
According to previous reports, the construction of the third phase SiC production line in Zhuzhou will start in November 2024, and the main factory building will be capped in May 2025. According to Zhuzhou CRRC, the products of the third phase Zhuzhou production line cover voltage levels of 650V-6500V, suitable for high-frequency/high power density system requirements, and can be widely used in new energy vehicles/hybrid vehicles, uninterruptible power supply (UPS), wind power generation, photovoltaic inverters, ship transportation, railway transportation, industry, smart grids and other fields.
In addition, Zhuzhou CRRC also has a 6-inch SiC chip production line, which currently has an annual production capacity of 25000 6-inch SiC chips. At present, Zhuzhou CRRC's SiC products (SBD) have been supplied in bulk in the photovoltaic field, and SiC TO devices have been installed at charging stations OBC、 Bulk supply in fields such as power testing.

Promote the 8-inch silicon carbide high-power chip project
Puzhou Dadi Group recently had exchanges with Suining Liantou Industry Co., Ltd. regarding projects such as Zhongwei Kexin's 8-inch semiconductor silicon carbide high-power chip. It is reported that the 8-inch semiconductor silicon carbide high-power chip project of Zhongwei Kexin is steadily advancing.
The project proposal discloses that the total planned land area for the project is 430 acres, and it is planned to construct a manufacturing factory for 80000 8-inch semiconductor silicon carbide high-power chips per month, including one production testing line and one mass production line; After the project is put into operation, the annual output value is about 4.32 billion yuan, and the total construction period is 1.8 years.

It is reported that the "Metaverse" project, a key technology research and development plan for the year 2025, was released by the Shanghai Municipal Science and Technology Commission with the aim of accelerating the construction of a globally influential science and technology innovation center and strengthening Shanghai's science and technology innovation source function in the field of metaverse. The project application guide shows that the thematic directions include wearable smart glasses, hybrid display headsets, consumer grade optical waveguide modules, etc. The funding limit for the consumer grade optical waveguide module project does not exceed 3 million yuan.

Jita Semiconductor:
Promote the relocation of the pilot production line and the secondary distribution project of SiC technological transformation
On November 7th, China Power Fourth Company officially announced that it had won the bid for the Shanghai Jita Semiconductor 12 inch 40K Phase A-FAC "Orion" and pilot line relocation SiC technical transformation secondary distribution project. It is reported that the project involves the 12 inch production line and silicon carbide technology transformation of Jita Semiconductor.
As of now, Jita Semiconductor has built two factories in Shanghai Lingang New Area and Xuhui District, with a total production capacity of 300000 pieces/month (equivalent to 8 inches), including 10000 pieces/month of silicon carbide. It is reported that in August 2018, the Jita characteristic process production line project started construction in Shanghai, with the first phase planning to build a 6-inch SiC production line; On June 30, 2020, the project was officially put into operation.
According to the official website, Jita Semiconductor is a research and development and manufacturing base focused on the characteristic processes of semiconductor integrated circuit chips. It can provide core chip characteristic process manufacturing platforms and technical services such as microcontrollers, analog circuits, power devices, sensors, etc. for the fields of automotive electronics, industrial control, and high-end consumer electronics.

Three major integrated circuit industry projects have settled in the High tech Zone, with a total investment of 1.9 billion yuan, including silicon carbide wafer testing line and wafer cutting line projects.
The report shows that the silicon carbide wafer inspection line and wafer cutting line project is a project of an alumni enterprise of the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, thanks to the deep cooperation between Neijiang High tech Zone and the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China. At present, no other information about the project has been officially disclosed, and "experts say three and a half generations" will continue to pay attention.
