Xu Chunming, an academician of the CAS Member and director of the National Key Laboratory of Heavy Oil of the China University of Petroleum (Beijing), introduced that breakthroughs had been made in the production line of graphene composite batteries on the energy storage platform, green electricity green hydrogen synthetic ammonia process coupling and other technologies. The 500kW ferrochrome fluidic cell energy storage module and equipment based on carbon cloth electrodes were included in the first major technical equipment list in the energy field of the National Energy Administration, leading the development of low-cost long-term energy storage.
Xu Chao, Executive Dean of the Energy and Power Innovation Research Institute at North China Electric Power University and Executive Deputy Director of the National Energy Storage Technology Industry Education Integration Innovation Platform (North China Electric Power University), introduced that the innovation platform has already built a full stack test bench, an electrochemical energy storage material and device laboratory, a hydrogen ammonia combustion laboratory, etc. The next step will be to form an integrated engineering test system of "source grid load storage", which will drive the upgrading of related industries.
At the meeting, North China Electric Power University released a compilation of "2025 New Energy Storage Key Technology Applications and High Value Cases", which includes over a hundred representative cases and provides practical references for the industry. China University of Petroleum (Beijing) has signed ecological cooperation agreements for flow batteries with multiple energy companies and research institutions, deepening the integration of industry university research resources.
