The Tianqi Hongyuan Shared Energy Storage Power Station project is located in Weichang Manchu and Mongolian Autonomous County, Chengde City, Hebei Province. It adopts advanced energy storage technologies such as vanadium flow and lithium iron phosphate. After the completion of the project, it can significantly improve the stability and reliability of the local power grid, promote the consumption of clean energy, and promote the optimization and upgrading of the regional energy structure. The signing of this contract is another milestone in the development process of Saihan Green Energy Company, marking the company's first external market occupation. It is reported that the Tianqi Hongyuan shared energy storage power station project has an energy storage capacity of 355MW/920MWh, including a lithium iron phosphate battery storage area and a vanadium flow battery storage area. The energy storage area of lithium iron phosphate batteries is divided into two parts according to the 2-hour and 4-hour systems. The 2-hour system consists of 145 sets of battery cabinet energy storage subunits, forming a 250MW/500MWh energy storage system, while the 4-hour system consists of 50 sets of battery cabinet energy storage subunits, forming a 55MW/220MWh energy storage system; The all vanadium flow battery energy storage system is located in the factory building with a 4-hour system configuration. The system consists of 50 sets of energy storage units and a 50MW/200MWh energy storage system. It is currently the largest capacity all vanadium flow energy storage project in Hebei Province.
At 6:58 am on November 30th, Beijing Tianqi Hongyuan New Energy Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Beijing Tianqi Hongyuan") successfully connected the first phase of the 355MW/920MWh shared energy storage project, which was independently developed, constructed, operated, and core equipment designed and manufactured. This marks the official connection of the largest shared energy storage cabinet in China to the power grid.
